Dear Mr. ter Braak,

I wonder if you ever received a letter I wrote you about three weeks ago? Anyway - I am writing again now because it seems to me more than likely that I sent it to a wrong address.

Although it can no longer be arranged through the medium of Miss. de Roos, I hope it may yet be possible for us to meet again and renew our very brief acquaintanceship of last March. If you are likely to be in the Hague at all soon and could spare time to see me, will you let me know? Or if not, may I perhaps come and see you in Rotterdam?

I don't know how much longer I shall be staying in Holland, but I should hate leaving it without having seen ‘the Dutch Huxley’ face to face more than once!

Yours Sincerely

Anthony Gishford
